Dry osteitis

Dry osteitis is an inflammatory or degenerative condition of the bone characterized by reduced blood supply and a “dry” pathological appearance. It may be associated with chronic inflammation or necrosis. It causes pain and tenderness. It is a rare term in clinical practice. Treatment depends on the underlying cause.
