Hip dysplasia

Hip dysplasia is a congenital or developmental abnormality of the hip joint. In this condition, the head of the femur does not fit properly into the acetabulum. If not treated early, it can cause pain and arthritis later in life. Treatment depends on the age and severity of the condition.
