Degenerative disc disease (DDD)

Degenerative disc disease (DDD) is a condition of the spine in which the intervertebral discs gradually wear down. The discs lose their height and elasticity, which can lead to pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. This condition is usually a result of natural aging, but it can be worsened by overload or injuries.
