Capsulectomy

Capsulectomy is the surgical removal of the joint capsule. It is performed in cases of chronic inflammation or severe damage to the capsule. The aim is to reduce pain and inflammation. It is often combined with other joint procedures. Recovery includes physiotherapy support.
