Brachial neuropathy

Brachial neuropathy is a disorder of nerve function affecting the nerves that innervate the arm and upper limb, resulting in alterations in nerve transmission. It may be caused by injuries, nerve compression, inflammation, or other disorders of the nervous system. Symptoms include pain, numbness, muscle weakness, reduced sensation, and difficulty with movement. Diagnosis is made through neurological examination and specialized tests, such as electromyography (EMG). Treatment depends on the underlying cause and may include medication, physiotherapy, and a rehabilitation program.
