Bulging disc

A bulging disc refers to a condition in which the intervertebral disc is deformed or protrudes beyond its normal boundaries, without a complete tear of the annulus fibrosus. It is often considered an early stage of a herniated disc and may cause pressure on the nerve structures of the spine.
