Bacterial osteomyelitis

Bacterial osteomyelitis is a bone infection caused by bacteria, typically occurring after an injury, surgical procedure, or through the bloodstream. It causes pain, swelling, redness, and often fever in the affected area. Diagnosis is based on clinical examination, imaging studies, and microbiological cultures.
