Axial loading

Axial loading is the distribution of forces along the axis of the spine or a bone, primarily due to body weight and posture. Under normal conditions, it contributes to body stability and function, but when increased or poorly distributed, it can cause pain, strain on the intervertebral discs, and degenerative changes. Proper ergonomics and muscle strengthening help improve it.
