Arthritis

Arthritis is a general term that describes inflammation of one or more joints. In contrast to “arthropathy,” which refers broadly to joint damage (whether inflammatory or degenerative), arthritis has an inflammatory component and is often accompanied by pain, swelling, and stiffness.
