Allodynia

Allodynia is a condition in which stimuli that do not normally cause pain (such as touch or mild pressure) become painful. It is often associated with disorders of the nervous system and occurs in conditions such as neuropathic pain or chronic pain syndrome. Treatment focuses on addressing the underlying cause and managing the pain.
