Adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder (frozen shoulder)

A condition characterized by pain and significant stiffness of the joint. It is caused by inflammation and thickening of the joint capsule, resulting in restricted range of motion. Recovery is usually gradual and includes physiotherapy and analgesic treatment.
