Adductor muscles

The adductor muscles are located on the medial side of the thigh and form a group of muscles that connect the pelvis to the femur. They create a compact muscular mass that fills the space between the anterior and posterior compartments of the thigh. Their main function is to bring the leg toward the midline of the body, a movement known as adduction. They also contribute to pelvic stabilization and balance during walking, changes of direction, and single-leg stance.
